I used this tape to secure a 110 lb cardboard box wrapped around the edge of a particle board. I don't know why, but it's very contradictory in attitude. I can glue as needed, sand it down with a bone folder and it looks smooth and well stapled. However, when the project was abandoned for a while (overnight), the deck of cards came loose from the chipboard. This photo shows it partially lifted, but I also had areas where the cardboard was peeling all the way down where the tape wasn't sticking. Very disappointing as I don't know if I can trust this tape on any project I would create as a gift or for sale.
