Still unstable even after balancing. You have to dance with this thing to keep it stable in a horizontal position.

Instability even after balancing. You have to dance with this thing to keep it stable in a horizontal position. For the price paid, this is a fairly reasonable product, but it falls short of professional expectations. It seems clear that the concept of pole extension does not go far enough for balancing, pendulum and gravitational influences. The result of the design is an extension format that is too short. An additional 6 to 8 inches on the extension helps guide the center of gravity and counterweight, and for cameras equipped with an attached battery holder extension, this adds weight. In addition, the horizontal rotation handle could have been more precisely machined and fitted with a diameter-adjustable tension screw to prevent excessive circular play causing the camera to spin like a carousel. Difficult to keep the camera in the right direction. The horizontal dual spring mechanism absorbs shock and minimizes movement while helping to maintain horizontal stability to keep the device and camera from rotating.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Long delivery time
