Easy to tear, suitable for stationery and gift wrapping
I bought these mainly to line my under sink wastebasket. Now I have to use three bags instead of the two from the store to store my wet kitchen scraps. And when I fold the tops like I always have to keep the top edge from tearing, they usually snap anyway, right through the folded edge. That didn't happen with the paper bags I used to bring my groceries home. Where we live, retailers now charge for paper grocery bags, so I figured that would save us money. Not as much.
