I bought this mold especially for "baking eggs" and from the start there was no non-stick coating, that's for sure! I've only used it maybe 4 times with every type of lube I've had including oil and each time it's been the worst. Then I read that if you soak it in vinegar and baking soda, the stuck egg can come loose. "No" again. Then, after being soaked, it rusted, in fact it rusted in two cups. I have never used anything other than a washcloth to clean. Too bad I didn't return when I had the chance!
