Price, quantity and quality meet here with these roles.

Light coils but in terms of price / quantity / quality they suit almost everyone. Because they are square, they don't roll as hard as other reels. I use little colored rubber bands to make pairs so I can easily tell them apart when working on a piece - this comes in handy especially when you're working with a "traveler" (sometimes called a "weaver") or figuring out a spider . I thought about adding weight to them. They were recommended to me by my lace teacher and she uses them in almost all of her projects.
