Review on 🐠 Fritz Aquatics FritzZyme 7 Nitrifying Bacteria for Freshwater Aquariums - 32oz by Tim Hollinger

I've tried several other popular brands and they didn't work. I had INSTANT results with this product. I would like to mention that I read another review here that scared me. I tested the solution with my API freshwater test kit before adding the product to my tank and the results were very dark green, indicating high levels of ammonia. I actually contacted Fritz on their website and they told me it was a FALSE READ caused by some of the buffers and other ingredients in the product and that it was ammonia free and safe for fish. I've been dosing it into my tanks and while my water test kits are still a bit wonky, I know it's working because all my tanks are now showing nitrates. My smallest tank (10 gallons) completed the process first and is now showing 0 ammonia/0 nitrite/variable nitrate when tested and I expect larger tanks to follow soon (still some nitrite and ammonia so process is not yet closed). . I am very satisfied with the product because in a few days it did what took me months to do in other aquariums.
