Blackmagic Design SSD rackmount recorders can be used for either recording or playback, but not both. Hence the need for more than one unit. To start playback from ATEM video mixer you need to press 2 buttons on the front of the SSD recorder - press: Input & Remote. Did! From there, the ATEM Control Panel can control playback.
