Love the fact that the mount comes with a 90 degree HDMI adapter perfect for those hard to reach spots, but here's what I ended up learning about the mount design, the part that my apple tv holds, that is the fact is attached to my wall mounted tv and screwed to the tv bracket. It sits right under the TV and on top of my soundbar while looking great but needs to be flipped down at this point if you tilt the TV down far enough for the HDMI cable to bang against the wall and then if you tighten enough pressing where you want the TV angle to be right, it pulls the adapter away from the Apple TV and kills your signal. I can't put the cable in the mount as that would place the Apple TV halfway out of the mount. That being said, I think the cage design may need to be changed to avoid pulling the adapter out of the streaming device. The other way to mount this mount is on the back of your TV using just the mount which hides the device together but for some of us who love to see this little unit almost like a work of art.
