Thick and very heat resistant
I needed a solid oven mitt as we cook and bake a lot. The ones I had were quite old and worn. But I had a hard time finding thick enough pans to put hot pans on the counter - many of the ones I found were thin and I was afraid the heat would transfer to the counter. They are well made, thick and solid. They had a slight smell from the packaging but I tossed them in the wash, ran a regular load and the smell was gone. They wash well and don't fall apart. Excellent potholders
