Buyers beware - error after two days
I received the KAX MAF sensor on May 31st, installed it on June 1st and it failed on June 3rd. My son got stuck and I towed the Corolla home because it started but wouldn't work. I replaced the battery, spark plugs, fuel pump and coils not believing there would be any problems with the new mass air flow sensor. Eventually I went to the parts store and bought a new MAF sensor after learning that the car would keep running without the KAX MAF sensor connected. After replacing the KAX sensor, everything was fine. Spending over $600 to find out. The NEW sensor is out of service, I do NOT recommend it.
