Review on 🔪 T.J Koch 14-Piece Stainless Steel Knife Set with Golden Oak Block - Premium Non-Slip Single Piece, Kitchen Scissors, and Sharpener Rod by Ivani Domenech

First impressions say a lot and my first impression was the butcher deck which was the first thing I drew. It was noticeably darker than the golden oak you see in the promotional photos, more of a dark maple/more orange than gold, and didn't quite match my cabinets like I'd hoped, secondly the silver front label plaque. The block was mostly out of place and crooked. However, I was able to pull it off and replace it. Not looking further at the knives wasn't a big problem. I wasn't expecting much after the presentation of the blocks but to my surprise they are amazing especially at this price! I was used to the expensive Macy's Trident knives in my previous marriage but was hoping to find quality at a lower price now that I'm on a single income and here I am! They're sleek, stylish, none of them have blemishes or tan spots, and slice them dry over a cooked pork loin like butter! I especially like the sound they make when you pull them out of the block. Reminds me of Benihana knives! In all of this I like to ignore the color of the block and if I can't then I can color it. What matters are knives. I won't make the same mistake I made with the good old knives by putting them in the dishwasher. I have heard and read that this is very bad for knives and I want them to stay this sharp and new for a long time.
