Almost good at water sports

Between mid-March and September I surf every day in California. As such I review wetsuits quite often and have a particular fondness for style and the back zip in particular as I like zips that close on their own without catching on the back of the wetsuit. I almost always only buy O'Neill. I usually buy O'neill Epic for summer and Phycho Freak for winter BUT they are very expensive. You can't save in winter, but I wanted a cheaper summer suit. So I decided to buy this Hevto wetsuit. The first thing I noticed was the cut. It doesn't fit your body and the zipper is definitely not the quality of my regular wetsuits BUT it didn't snag so it was just good quality but for $50 it's ok. The footage was good too, but the editing was the deal breaker. As the cut has been disabled you will end up with odd pockets forming in odd places and leaking massive amounts of water into the wetsuit. A regular wetsuit MUST let some water through to allow the body to heat that small amount of water, but the Hevto lets through too much water for the body to heat up. I've never been frozen in the water in my wetsuits, but this Hevto is NOT doing its job of keeping you warm. It's a wetsuit and I think it might have a place in someone's wetsuit rotation if the water they are in is already warm and they need a wetsuit for sun protection and protection from reefs, rocks or scratches, but not for warmth. Also, they are small in length. I ordered the Large Tall but the arm and leg lengths were short, the legs only came down to my ankles and the arms went past the wrist but otherwise enough room with odd cuts here and there. I couldn't order a size up because yes it would be longer but it would be bigger all over which would then let more water through. So size is also an issue.

Cons
