Review on 🎮 ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming: AMD AM4 Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 & 3rd Gen Ryzen ATX Gaming Motherboard with PCIe 4.0, 2.5Gb LAN, BIOS Flashback, HDMI 2.1, Addressable Gen 2 RGB Header, and Aura Sync by Jon Joung

First of all, LAN works immediately, I was able to connect to the internet and update Armory Crate drivers. The motherboard looks beautiful, with the ROG RBG badge and 2 NVME heatsinks. Great bios option, I've always bought an Asus board for their bios. Overclocking with Precision Overclock Boost works great and is very easy to get to 4.85GHz. The sound 3D radar is just ah. But Sonic Studio 3 is fine, it works. But that shouldn't be why you choose it over a cheaper version like the B550 Tuf. Here are some problems I list and fix here: Problems: 1. LAN often disconnects or shows no internet, but all my other devices have internet. Lost several matches of the competition on observation. very annoying 2. Bios buggy3. Win 10 freezes every time it's idle, the mouse pointer can move but you can't close or open anything.4. Most of the time I get a white light, "No VGA" beep. SOLUTION: 1. Update your bios from 140x to 2403 and install the latest driver from Asus website. after I updated it, no more problems with LAN2. see Fix #1, BIOS works smoothly now3. This is a problem with Ryzen 5000, not only this board, almost all b550 have such problem, just disable status Global c5 in bios and everything will be fine.4. I found that when your monitor is in sleep mode or turned off, the VGA cannot receive a signal and the LED stays white. Just make sure your monitor is on at this time. Many people solve this problem on other forums. I hope Asus fixes this. It's not really a big problem, the circuit board isn't broken, just make sure the monitor is on before turning on the computer. Summary, I really like this board because it has some issues that I had to spend a full week fixing and checking if everything is ok and another month before writing this review just to be sure. So I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. I hope new buyers can read this and be prepared with BIOS and driver updates.
