I ordered these lights to deal with my daughter's complaint about our 'boring' house. I attached it to the living room wall just below the ceiling using small nails and some thumbtacks. During installation I dropped the lightbulbs, hit the walls, they didn't break. There are small hanging holes right above each bulb. I held the sharp side of the push pin with pliers and pushed it through the hole, wiggling it and it went through, this made it easier to hang and rearrange later for better aesthetics. I did this because I only had 5 or 6 small nails. The app works via Bluetooth and works great. I scheduled it to toggle on and off and once you install it you don't need the app anymore and that's what I liked best. 48 feet 20 bulbs, bulbs are spaced about 30 inches apart. So far it works and meets my expectations.
