Review on ๐Ÿšฃ Intex Explorer K2 Kayak: 2-Person Inflatable Kayak Set Including Aluminum Oars and High Output Air Pump by Richard Dean

does not stand behind the product

I purchased an Explorer K2 and was enjoying many hours of kayaking on the lake and canal where I live in South Florida until a few weeks ago a seam on the pontoon tore about a half inch ago. I followed the directions using the supplied round patch with the appropriate adhesive. I later did it a second time with different sealants and with sealing tapes. I clamped it and crossed it. After 5 attempts I gave up and then realized that the seam is coming apart even more. I called Intex support and they told me they wouldn't do anything because it had been 90 days. REALLY? The seam unraveled. I followed the directions. The seam has continued to unravel. I can't fix it and the boat is useless now and sorry it's been 90 days. They couldn't even suggest how to fix it. In fact, the representative said I couldn't fix the stitching. Now I don't have $85 left, I don't have a kayak and this big supplier says it's a shame! I'm sorry Intex, I think you not only lost my business but also all referrals for my social community. Unless of course you want to fix it. In that case, email me at digaffej@yahoo.com
