It should be a simple device, right. Counterweight and clip-on semi-circle clip to hold the light bar in place. When you put it on the computer, the control buttons are behind the bezel that holds the light, not facing the user. I have an overhead cabinet just above the monitor and I can't access the buttons at all. But here's the key point. The power connector on the lightbar pushes against the top of the monitor when you turn the light on, so you can't rotate the light away from the screen. If you look closely at the picture of the item you will see exactly what I am talking about. Unbelievable!
