Full Disclosure: I have not tested or reviewed other brands/models as it was a gift from my brother (a retired engineer and research botanist) so I'm pretty sure it is is is a proven product. In fact, I love it so much that I bought it as a wedding gift for another family member. This is a great machine if you have (mostly) tile and wood floors, not so good on carpet, but that goes for all machines of this type. It does an excellent job of mapping your home and accomplishes everything it can without getting stuck. The slim design allows it to get under my sofa where my vacuum could not. It's pretty quiet too and our two mini dachshunds didn't get as startled as I thought (although they still don't know what to do about it). ignorance), but that's fine, I hit the delete button on the machine and it does the rest. Anyway, I'd rather be at home in case it gets stuck somewhere (only once so far due to a broken phone charger). Otherwise, I'm surprised at how much dust it kicks up. I'm holding back a star because I don't have any long term data yet, but so far so good.
