. When I first got it a few years ago it worked fine at first but soon started having connection problems. Thanks to Google, I've found that putting some aluminum foil between the tip of the pen and the plastic washer helps. I did that and it worked better, but there were still some skipping issues, which is annoying despite the cost of these pens. Everything was working fine as my two year old niece sat on my lap, knocked off the disk and flew off to who knows where and no one else saw her. This was the best deal I could find on replacement discs. I am guessing they came in a 3 pack as these small items are easy to lose. I was hoping that the new generation of drives would be better designed to fix connection skipping issues, but I'm still having the same issue. I think my trusty aluminum foil came to my rescue again.
