When I read about these products, I don't think the perfect product exists anymore. I have a MacBook and an HP laptop that I connect to. This allows me to just unplug the Thunderbolt cable from one laptop and plug it into another laptop. I immediately connected: 2 printers external hard drive programmable mouse mechanical keyboard 2 external monitors (not 4K) headphones SD memory card I have 2 problems. I use a mechanical keyboard with backlit keys. They turn on and off, but I can always print with no problems. It just makes me nervous that something might happen to the current running through my devices. The other issue is that my laptop won't stay charged with all of this plugged in. So I also plug in my computer's power cord. Not perfect, but better than keys and cords everywhere!
