Review on 🖥️ ODK Corner Desk Triangle Computer Desk: Large Drawer, Storage Shelves, Black by Shashi Jain

Been watching this table for a while. Should have bought it 3 months ago when it was $60. I hesitated and it went up to $90. Now $110. Fairly expensive for lumber made from chipboard coated with wood-like contact paper. I took a chance and bought a returned Revain Warehouse item for under $80. In general, a regular table for a small room. At least the frame is metal with good welds, decent paintwork. "Wood" portions are what you would expect from a Chinese manufacturer/importer - thin, cheap, delicate. Packaging is taken to a whole other level. This was obviously rude as it was touched more than once and I was very surprised that given the condition of the 'box' the item was not destroyed. To protect the parts, very thin sheets of "Styrofoam" were used. These sheets shattered into many tiny clumps and permeated every nook and cranny, including the entire living room. Minus one point for using foam - it must be illegal as it will end up in a landfill. Many manufacturers have switched to easily recyclable cardboard protection - a well-known monitor and computer manufacturer comes to mind. Not eco friendly if you are someone who cares about these things. Three stars because there is nothing that could be 5 stars minus one for crappy foam and low cost.
