Ugh, please avoid this mug. I accidentally dropped it from a lower cabinet onto the granite counter (two feet fall) and the crazy thing SHATTERED into a million small pieces that shot everywhere. Even after a thorough vacuuming I expect to find pieces for months.As for the use before its explosion: it does not insulate heat from the coffee well, and with the handle design if you're a man with man sized fingers you have to be careful not to hold it too low or you'll burn your fingers when they touch the cup. Not recommended at all.
