The mesh portion of the humerus/collarbone is thick enough to be strong and the mesh sits just below the collarbone. Basically, this dress has a boat neckline and mesh instead of a solid panel. Washes well by hand. Hang to dry. Overall very happy with this beautiful dress. I wish there was one that suits me.
