This pre-filter is exactly what I needed for my off-road adventures on my motorcycle... As a result of my tests, I determined that it effectively filters out dirt and debris while allowing for smooth airflow. Installation was easy and it has held up well under tough Automotive conditions. The only drawback I found was that it may not be as compatible with certain motorcycle models..
