Advantages and disadvantages. in kitchen and dining room

This product is intended for people with developmental disabilities to help with meal preparation. Although the security features are exactly as described, the preliminary work before using the shredder is so extensive that it defeats the purpose of the product. A limited amount of vegetables can fit in the chute, the rest must be cut. At the same time, the design is very effective. It contains clear instructions and pictures on how to use this product. There are even some recipes on the back. The top handle has a twist and lock feature to secure the blade. On the back there are two knobs to adjust the blade and a dial to adjust the slice thickness. The legs also have suction cups to prevent slipping. The force required to squeeze the handle is quite entertaining for toddlers as they watch each chop fly into the included container, securely attached below. The downside of this product is cleaning. When cutting very thin slices, dirt collects on the bottom and gets stuck. Even using the small brush that comes with the kit isn't very effective. I had to use the power of a water sprayer in the sink to get the shards off. Overall, this product is well designed but doesn't eliminate the need for a cutting knife.
