I have not used this item yet. I assembled it and it was easy to set up. All the parts were in a box, and the box was made of thick cardboard, which made it more durable during transportation. The block itself is very durable. However, there is one. and that is the length of the screws, they were long enough to mount the fins but the plate that the spigot sits on when pressed is almost as thick as the length of the screw so I had longer screws and they worked great . You really have to be careful how tight you tighten the screws, the fins are pre-drilled so there's no spacing issue. I've found that if you just screw them down, you won't tear them off. I've noticed that some reviewers mention that the nylon washer that fits between the pivot and pressure plate can break. I plan to put some petroleum jelly on the washing machine and hardware. The instructions don't mention this, but you must have lube as the bare paint on the trunnion and pressure plate is no lube at all.
