Works well for the GPS system Accessory

I bought this to replace one that had the plastic holding the hinge on the suction mechanism cracked after months of exposure to the dash in the sun. Once the loop broke, the mount easily lost suction. It remains to be seen if this dash mount will last longer than the first. Unfortunately, many plastics used in the manufacture of car accessory items cannot withstand the heat and sun. Even the plastics used by car manufacturers for trim and accessories don't hold up very well to heat and sun.
