Review on πŸ” Bushnell Engage DX 10x42mm Binocular: Premium Black Optics for Immaculate Vision by April Bailey

Excellent visual performance and quality

I love road trips, spontaneous, just me and my lab travel to nature on a whim. These Bushnell Engage DX binoculars will always be in my truck. The most important aspect is the clarity and true color of what I focus on; Birds, creatures, leaf patterns, the conditions of the trail ahead, or the general landscape. I've used them in both bright and cloudy light with equal success. Very impressive in all situations. That's what makes viewing impressive, something that needs to be acknowledged. Ultra-low dispersion fluorite glass keeps the image sharp and clear even in low light. The lenses are coated to resist water, fog and even fingerprints! And the anti-reflective coating ensures natural, vivid colors across the entire light spectrum. Comfort is very important when using binoculars. Pivoting eyecups block stray light in the "down" position when wearing glasses or when rotating the eyecups "up" without glasses. Because the eyecups rotate, the user can stop the height of the eyecups at any point between fully raised and fully lowered. Adjusting the IPD (interpupillary distance) may not vary from horse to cyclops, but it seems to be sufficient for most. Eyecups and IDP adjustment are done by focusing and diopter adjustment is possible. First, focus with the left eye, unlock the diopter ring, and then focus with the right eye. Once it's set for visual perfection, lock the diopter ring and use the center focus knob from now on. Regardless of how you change the central focus knob, the diopter remains the same despite the difference in vision between the left and right eyes. While this may seem like a tedious task at first, once this adjustment is complete, you can record your personal eye settings for future reference. I really like the outer coating of the binoculars. Rubberized, grippy texture with thumb grooves. I've used them in the rain and never felt like they would slip out of my wet hands. Also included is a nice drawstring bag, a fairly sturdy case, lens caps and a padded shoulder strap. It also has a tripod mount. I am more than satisfied with the quality and excellent viewing characteristics of the Bushnell Engage DX 10x42mm binoculars.
