So this doesn't look like a real opal at all. Needless to say, the ring is very beautiful. The colors shimmer beautifully, especially when exposed to light. Comfortable low profile ring. I haven't taken it off since I got it. If you are looking for something that looks like real opal you will pay a lot more. This is a good ring for the price. I'm glad I bought it.
