Bought this for my garden tractor and have been using it for about a month. Then it came loose and I found the nut holding the handle had fallen off and got lost in the yard. I had a couple of the right size spare nuts but they didn't fit. Maybe it's a metric. To prevent this, the handle must have lock nuts or lock washers. UPDATE: After trying another brand of spinning rod to no avail, I went to the hardware store and bought a nylon insert lock nut to keep the bottom nut from loosening. You can do the same with blue LockTite. I solved the problem with the loose handle by inserting a second nut between the handle and the strap. This holds the bolt tight against the handle but still turns well. Another benefit of installing a second nut on top is that you have more clearance away from the steering wheel so the steering wheel doesn't touch your joints. Please note that the thread is metric. So if you're looking for a replacement or extra nut, look for it.
