Review on πŸ” Milton S-931 Dial Tire Gauge for Accurate and Efficient Tire Pressure Measurement by Dan Brickley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked well at lower PSI levels

I bought this low pressure gauge for my Wheeleez kayak cart with 30cm polyurethane (balloon) beach wheels. The pressure gauge fits snugly and easily onto the balloon wheel valve stems (which are partially built into the polyurethane material of the wheel). My wheels were supposed to inflate between 2 and 4psi, but the initial reading on the gauge was 1.5psi. I could easily read the 1.5 psi value and after pumping air into the wheels I could easily read the psi value as they grew. I also deflated the tire with the deflator pin with no problems. I was concerned that the gauge would be difficult to mount on my custom balloon wheels and whether I would be able to read the psi readings at the low end of the gauge's range. Both of my fears were unfounded as the sensor worked as expected and lower psi readings actually registered on the sensor and were easy to read.
