We found the user interface difficult to navigate, possibly due to a foreign manufacturer. At first nothing seemed to work, neither the controls on the device itself nor the remote control. After turning it on and off several times, it came alive. There are many functions that are only available in the remote control and not through the buttons of the device. The buttons on the remote control are small and difficult to read in low light. We found assigning preset radio stations to be difficult to say the least. It's not a very intuitive process. Reception on our favorite radio station was poor, and repositioning the antenna didn't seem to help much. The product does its basic job, but not without a steep learning curve.
