I bake a lot of bread from the Artisan's Bread cookbook in Five Minutes a Day. Because I double all recipes, larger batches are harder to store in a conventional mixing bowl. These 12 liter food storage bowls are perfect for mixing and storing batter. I usually have two batches of dough resting at a time, so I keep two of these 12-liter containers in the fridge in my garage. They fit perfectly. And the bowl size is perfect for double the batter. If this is an optional yeast recipe, it will rise high enough to touch the lid (sold separately) but not enough to spill over the sides. The plastic is durable and resists scratches quite well. Bathtubs are easy to use, easy to carry and easy to clean. It is an essential part of my kitchen.
