I had to file all edges to get rid of the mold extrusion. But around the ears there are 5, 3/8 holes. And press a lot. I had to drill holes. Then they looked worse. Switched to True Value gear. They had several black flush plugs for 0.34 cents each. In addition, they sit very freely. So I bought some of the tape you see on the steps to keep you from slipping. I marked the rim where the cap mounts are and applied some of this tape to all 5 legs. It worked great.
