2 frames arrived but both broken in one spot. The material appears to be compressed cardboard which is great for the weight but just didn't hold up in transit. The supplied plexiglass has been properly protected but is VERY easy to scratch so please remove the protective film carefully. It is in fact very similar to the one my husband bought for the same project (I wasn't aware of it), but it was custom made using glass and real wood. We used the one he bought for my photo but honestly, despite the matte finish of Plexiglas, it looks a lot like a much more expensive frame. I bought the 24x36, which probably caused it to break because, despite being well packaged, the frame connection couldn't handle the normal shock and movement I expected during shipping. It was slightly glued but I can see where it broke. I'm sure if you didn't know you wouldn't be able to tell. The depth of the frame only allows for a thin photograph or lithograph. It will not fit on a standard width canvas.
