my drz400 start button broke. I needed a quick solution that didn't take up space on the steering wheel. I bought this derailleur and placed it where the front brake mount was. It doesn't take up any extra space and works great. My motorcycle has a starter relay. I wouldn't try to route the starter current through the switch. But for my purpose this momentary switch is perfect. I would recommend it. However, it can be improved by adding relief on the wires. However, they are attached to the steering wheel with zips, so everything should be fine.
