Received today, the shifter half was not drilled all the way through making it impossible to install the screws properly through the front. I will knock out the metal that missed an update of its functions.

It was ok, installation was decent, it was bolted on but not enough for starter switch as they say maybe it could be a horn switch but the wires are VERY small to provide starting current for my Chinese 150 ATV. I'm sure it can be used for low power consumption but not a start switch.

I've ordered 3 of these so far and each time I've returned a defective one thinking I could get the switch as described. The switch works BUT you have to buy nuts and bolts or SHAKE the back half of the clamshell and then screw the bolts on. The switch comes with 2 screws and a back half. Problem. The back half is NOT threaded as clearly shown in the products promotional image.

I decided to try it despite the bad reviews, the reviews were correct. The bottom half of the bracket was threaded, the top half wasn't impossible to install without buying new nuts and bolts, very disappointed with this product, I don't write reviews but it's quality junk if you can't make changes. I haven't checked the electronics yet, but the production sucks

my drz400 start button broke. I needed a quick solution that didn't take up space on the steering wheel. I bought this derailleur and placed it where the front brake mount was. It doesn't take up any extra space and works great. My motorcycle has a starter relay. I wouldn't try to route the starter current through the switch. Came in 5 days ok I guess I'm in no hurry but they promised in 2 days. The bottom half of the bracket had a different finish than the top half, which houses the actual switch, the second half was gloss black, and the bottom half was matte black. Alright again I think. The bolts weren't long enough to go through 2 halves. Neither halves are milled with threads, so nuts are required. There were no nuts, but that didn't matter as the bolts were a bit short.
