Cats love to scratch their skin. It seems to be their favorite fabric that they destroy. After my cat totally destroyed my husband's leather office chair, I bought a brand new one made of smooth, shiny leather. Didn't you know that within 20 minutes of picking up this goof, the damn cat tried to stick his adorable little claws in? Since I can't close my office door, I was hoping that a nice, smooth chair cover would be the solution. I chose this model based on measurements (check your measurements folks!) and reviews and I love it! It's slim, easy to put on, feels comfortable, and covers the front, back, and seat. It's beautiful, stretchy, and perfect for our high back chair. But of course my favorite bonus is that my cat has made absolutely NO attempt to dig her claws into the chair since I put it on. It's entirely possible that this saved the kitten's life (just kidding, of course. I usually love the kitty)!
