I have tried various chair covers including car seat covers but this is the best I have found. It is breathable, flexible, soft to the touch and very durable. I had issues with clothing based covers my cats scratching and worse they got very dirty and attracted a lot of hair. With this coating hair and dirt don't seem to cling to it as much and if they do you can easily brush the hairs off with very little effort which is very easy to keep clean. It's very stretchy and the back zipper is very strong (and also a great way to do that so it doesn't climb out of the bottom tear and stay down on its own) and well made.
