Review on SYMA Q9 RC Boat For Kids - 10Km/H Speedboat, Double Power & Low Battery Reminder by Zachary Caldwell

Good, small-form RC boat

This is a small entry into the RC boat scene. In photo 3 (upside down boat) you'll see that it easily fits in your hand. Its twin-engine design has plenty of power, but I noticed it sits a little low in the water. The 3.7V 650mAh battery (2 included) charges fairly quickly on USB and provided a good run-time, I've taken it to the pond twice on its first charge and it's still going. Reverse works, but doesn't work well, nor did I expect it would; it's more of an emergency brake, although it will crawl backwards lurchingly, the way you'd expect a boat to move facing backwards. The controller is single-position in all directions; I'd love to have more control over the boat, but it works because it's small with a max speed of around 6mph. All in all it's a solid entry into the field at its pricepoint.
