Former athlete with big quads - perfect size

I have a 34/35" waist but have big quads from many a squat throughout my life so I usually go up a size in pants/shorts (up to a 38 in these UA Tech shorts) ). I had trouble finding golf shorts that didn't look silly/baggy as I grew but also allowed me to move freely on the swing. These shorts go just above my knee and because they fit so well I don't look like I'm wearing leather pants. They look slim but not tight, and loose but not baggy. For this reason I bought a second pair and can wear them both on and off the pitch.
