Review on 🏕️ Minnetonka Mens Camp Maple Smooth: Comfort and Style for Nature Enthusiasts by Joshua Sharma

I would like to start by saying that I have owned and loved my previous Minnetons which I had for over 6 years until they could no longer be used. I usually find something I like and stick with it. So I wanted to stay loyal to the company that made my last great pair and expect the same results. On arrival I noticed the box was very popular with a holey, torn lid, not sure if it was from shipment or just in inventory at the back of a warehouse. The item was in the same condition as the box. Although the leather was intact with no scratches, the lace from one of the shoes was already frayed and torn as if someone had used it when I bought these supposedly 'new' ones. I found another piece at the bottom of the box. I further checked the build quality and noticed a raised bump on the right heel pad. Trying them on a raised bump was extremely uncomfortable and noticeable. The size is also almost an inch larger than advertised (I have a 12.5-13). To make matters worse, the one on the left seemed even larger than the one on the right, which made me question the quality assurance. Recommend buying full size. I put my other shoes (size 13) alongside and they were not only longer but also much wider than my other shoes which only exacerbated the size difference. Overall I am very dissatisfied and feel like I received a poorly made shoe that was not QC checked prior to release. Now I have to wait to come back and get the right size and replacement for this defective product. Also note that my last pair was made in the USA but these new ones say they are made in the Dominican Republic. I'm not sure if this change is causing these errors, but I'm really sad about this change. I thought I was supporting a real American product. I sincerely hope that Minnetonka and/or Revain can get this right and send me a new, correctly sized product without a problem. I will keep you updated on the status of my problems. Please don't let this one incident distract you from the Minnettons. Like I said before, I loved my last pair, I'm still willing to give them another chance.
