I used a mini DP to HDMI adapter but it died. I realized that USB-C is a new standard that many new devices are using, and my ThinkPad supports both Mini-DP and USB-C for display, so I decided to try this USB-C to HDMI adapter to try. This particular one was rated correctly. They weren't the cheapest, which according to reviews many of them didn't find very good, and not the most expensive. But this is one of the cheapest adapters. The reviews seemed pretty good but since I haven't really used it I decided to try a pack and I'm very happy with it. I mainly use it to connect my laptop (ThinkPad) to my monitor and I use it to connect to my main monitor and I have a regular HDMI to HDMI cable to connect to my secondary monitor . And this adapter works fine and I have no problems. I also tried connecting my LG G7 smartphone to my TV using this adapter and no problem here either! I am very satisfied with the adapter and the price. So next time I need another USB-C to HDMI adapter I will definitely get a double pack as I know this product works well.
