Ordered a size small - At first I was concerned that it was too small (not long enough) for my 31" waist, but the intertwined straps and hook and loop fastening are pretty adjustable finally I find it perfect. I recommend ordering a size up if your waist is a little wider or you need to wear it a little lower (e.g. around the hips for sacroiliac support). Once you've got it on and tightened, it feels really supportive thanks to its aluminum legs (rather than flimsy and flexible plastic). The support section is quite wide (ie high) so it's really good for lumbar region support (ie lower back) but probably not for relieving pain coming down (related to the sacroiliac joint).
