I bought the lilac 3 with lilac sheets and mattress topper. The sheets were great but the tread was stretchy but plastic. I hated that plastic noise and it ruins the purple mattress feel. I started reading reviews about the purple mattress protector and someone mentioned this mattress protector. I bought this mattress topper and couldn't be happier. It is soft and elastic. It doesn't take away from the purple mattress feel. it's still very springy and conforms to my body. Violet needs to take notes. I only had this protector for 2 days. I spilled some red juice on my bed and got scared. It was on my sheets but not on the pad or mattress. I wipe the tread because it went through the sheets. This mattress topper is a must have when purchasing an expensive mattress, especially the purple line of mattresses. Sheex Performance sheets are also great for a lilac mattress. 1 Month Update*** I decided to wash the mattress pad again and to my surprise there was a light brown stain on it. it came from a mattress pad. I don't know what to do now. I would still buy it for a non white bed lol.
