Before purchasing this item, I asked in the Revain questions section if the item was made of solid wood. I was told that it is really hard wood. It's not solid wood, it's vinyl laminate chipboard. After reading the manufacturer's description after I received the part, they stated that it was a particle. When assembling it, I was shocked to find that the 4 support legs are made of plastic. For real? This is for cheapness. The back is made of cardboard with holes for cable routing. This piece wobbles and some reviewers have recommended using a piece of 1/4 inch plywood on a backing to reinforce the piece. In addition, the cams that connect the sides and top do not snap, leaving a small gap in the structure. The look of the cabinet is attractive but the materials used are cheap and I doubt how long this piece will last. The assembly took 1 hour. I can send it back to the manufacturer, I will give them some time and think before making that decision. .
