so i read some reviews about this product and the similar fit systems interchangeable lens model but i was still crazy. The glass will never be exactly the same shape as it is cut into the black plastic molding. That's part of Murphy's Law (and I'm working on patenting what will soon become Matthew's Law. "dry preinstalled" and of course found that the glass wouldn't sit perfectly in the plastic frame after everything was sealed with double sided tape ( I used the extra one as everyone mentioned) I couldn't help but get it to fit perfectly so with some effort I managed to break the glass right in the middle Another trip to the local auto parts store was fruitful this time ( Most local places didn't have a jar of this model so I order from Revain) So about $14 from the local Pep Boys (the only one they had behind the counter) I took another shot, grabbed a razor blade and scraped the inside edge of the plastic frame/glass body until the hole is correct for the new one. You will need to perform this step if you successfully remove the old glass t have (and in my case the first replacement glass cracked zero) Now that it's inside you can't see the difference. Please read the reviews! Most of the time they don't lie. Learn from the mistakes of others. Never expect a finished product to fit perfectly without a little tweaking!
