Pretty shelves after installation. However, the width and length are a lot narrower and shorter than intended (yes, didn't read the measurements, just looked at the pictures ha!), so they're more suited to decorative items than book storage. It is noted that once installed they are super durable! And they look great! I love these shelves. First, wood is cheap, so be careful when moving it before and during installation. Otherwise, the quality of the wood does not detract from the aesthetics. Note: Because the brackets are custom and the wood is cheap, the shelves can be configured and installed as corner shelves! (You just can't screw in the end caps, and that's okay.). This was the BEST find about this product - corner shelves.
