There were two keyless fobs for my 2007 Chevy Colorado, one barely worked and the second detached from the fob. Replaced the broken key fob with a new one. The work was tedious but not overly difficult. I only replaced the battery for preventive maintenance. It worked great and was able to reattach it to the keychain. The other key fob that barely worked was easier to replace. The experience helped. The battery was also replaced at the same time. After reassembling it worked like new. Well worth the hassle and saved a mint compared to having a dealer or locksmith fix it. I liked the end result.
