These key fob covers fit the factory circuit board perfectly (slightly snug on the rubber cover but that's to be expected) and both key fobs work like new. including one that hasn't worked in years.

I ordered this cover for my son to replace the broken FOB (where the key ring goes). It only lasted a few moments. Have needle nose pliers (small) ready to insert the loosened battery clip into the housing. Have another tool (screwdriver or similar) ready to open the old FOB. Place them next to each other so you don't get lost and swap the board. I would also advise when replacing a case to have a new battery ready to put in to save yourself the hassle of changing it in the future. Seems better

There were two keyless fobs for my 2007 Chevy Colorado, one barely worked and the second detached from the fob. Replaced the broken key fob with a new one. The work was tedious but not overly difficult. I only replaced the battery for preventive maintenance. It worked great and was able to reattach it to the keychain. If your key fob works and the only problem you have is a worn hole, do yourself a huge favor and purchase this replacement case. I saved myself $75 and an hour of work at my Chevy dealership by reprogramming the computer in my 2004 Colorado just by replacing the case. By the way, it is not necessary for your GM dealer to reprogram your car if you decide to buy a completely new key. Fob, you can do it yourself in a minute, but that's another story.
