We had one for years and eventually it just fell off.
We had one for many years and eventually it just fell apart. It works well. Various magnifications are available. We find the 7x to be the best for close-up makeup work, etc. The carrier originally sent the wrong one (5x) but we had no problem exchanging it. A couple of Mollys are required for wall mounting (very secure). It plugs into any available outlet, so no special wiring is required for installation. It is durable and will never be removed from the wall even with daily use and will be moved in, out and around frequently during use. The chrome finish has been preserved in our bathroom with shower, which we use at least a few times a day. The misty, damp air didn't hurt.
